The Agdao Project:

A heartbreaking poverty cycle is affecting over 100,000 Filipinos in the district of Agdao, located in Davao City, Philippines. Every day, parents suffer the consequences of lacking a formal education as it directly hinders their ability to obtain consistent, well-paying jobs to support themselves and their children. Instead, the most they can hope for is low-labor odd jobs around the city, which require 12-hour days and pay, at most, up to $3.00 USD per day.

Founded in 2007, The Agdao Project is a non-profit organization that believes every child deserves the opportunity to receive a formal education. Since the conditions in Agdao restrict impoverished Filipinos from affording the minimal supplies to attend school, our primary focus is to provide financial and moral support for children’s education.
