The Bridge!

What the Bridge is:
The Bridge is a program that enriches the lives of overseas youth through health education and creative arts. It stems form the Journey 2 Origin program, in which we have reached 7,000 youths throughout Asia including Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Every year, we selectively take 10-12 mentors from the Bay Area and provide them the opportunity to be exposed to cultures around the world and to serve a community outside of their own. We will be providing free tobacco-awareness and sex education to students in impoverished communities and we incorporate creative workshops such as b-boying, hip-hop, freestyle dance, poetry, house, locking, and more to help them develop a creative outlet. We inspire the students to look beyond their environment, and to dig deep within themselves to create.

This jam is a fundraising event to help out the children in need. We, as a nonprofit organization, strive to provide all that we can for the children. We ask that our community be apart of this as well. Help us help the kids in need!
